The Finance Division within Corporate Services’ mandate is to enable success through financial stewardship and business partnership.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, Human Services Finance Business Partner (FBP) you will provide strategic financial advice and support to Human Services leadership that enables them to effectively manage their business. The FBP supports the operational and strategic initiatives of the Human Services Department.
Within the Human Services FBP section of Business and Financial Planning and reporting to the Supervisor, the Senior Financial Analyst is seen as the subject matter expert. The Senior Analyst works to develop and sustain collaborative and successful working relationships and supports the program in effectively managing their business. Our team is committed to providing a client-centered approach and delivers a model that offers financial advisory services with our internal and external business partners.
What you will do in this role:
- Performs budgeting, forecasting and reporting for various divisions within the Human Services Department
- Identifies business trends and drivers and maintains/develops financial models
- Develop workflow schedules for budget and corporate reporting cycles
- Develops and maintains cooperative, collaborative and strategic relationships with the division’s managers and directors
