Title: Community Outreach and Data Specialist
Reports to: Sr. Program Manager - Family Partnership Program
Status: Non-Exempt / Hourly / Full-Time / In-person
Location: Alameda County. Office in Oakland.
Pay: $26/ hour

Our HistoryUnder the supervision of the Sr. Program Manager, the Community Outreach and Data Specialist performs community outreach activities for the Alameda County CalWORKs Home Visiting programs (Brighter Beginnings, Healthy Families America, Nurse Family Partnership). The Community Outreach and Data Specialist provides targeted outreach and resources targeting families receiving CalWORKs with children 3 years old and younger, including pregnant women. This position also assists with Program data, reports, and CQI projects.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Four-year degree required, preferably in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Child Development.
- Excel proficiency preferred
- Two or more years of experience in social services program outreach or related work experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to teamwork
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with database entry.
- Strong writing skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- High ethical standards.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Able to lift 25 pounds during health education efforts, community events and distributing materials.
- Can stand and sit for long periods of time while performing outreach.
- Available for occasional work after hours and weekends.

resources to CalWORKs recipients 3 years and younger and pregnant women.
2. Represents Brighter Beginnings at outreach events such as health fairs, schools, and
community-based organization functions.
