We're looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Data Product Manager (IT Business Analyst). As a Product Manager within the Office of Innovation, Alignment, and Accountability (OIAA), you will get to serve as a liaison between technology and business units. These business units are all working toward the common goal of eliminating child and youth outcome disparities and transforming lives by protecting vulnerable children and promoting healthier families.

This journey-level position provides consultation to business units on the availability of data to inform their questions and decisions, elicits and delivers business and technical requirements for reporting needs, documents current and future business flows, and product roadmaps. In this position, you will utilize your knowledge of report application design and understanding of business needs to provide consultation to development teams and business partners, and provide solution recommendations on complex issues.
This position is a remote position but may require occasional (about once a quarter) in-person meetings in Olympia for connection and continuing best practice between teams.

- Elicit and document all business and technical requirements for the OIAA reporting system, with a focus on Child Welfare reporting.
- Formulate technology solutions for business needs and communicate solutions to business partners.
- Define and document complex business logic, report designs, and specifications for development and implementation of the OIAA reporting system.
- Lead the analysis of functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Work with development team to evaluate alternative approaches and define potential revisions to business processes.
