The Role We Want You For
LJC is seeking a Knowledge Manager & Data Specialist to serve as the firm’s central resource for marketing data, project information, and visual assets. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate, accessible data across platforms including Deltek Vantagepoint, Unanet, and OpenAsset to support marketing and business development efforts.
This individual will also lead the coordination and management of project photography, serving as the primary point of contact for photoshoots and visual asset workflows—from planning and execution through asset management and accounts receivable.
This role will play a key part in evolving LJC’s marketing systems, tools, and workflows, supporting continuous improvement and alignment with Clayco enterprise platforms.
This role works closely with marketing, business development, and project teams and requires a proactive, self-starting mindset with a strong pulse on active work across the firm. The position can be based in Chicago or St. Louis.
The Specifics of the Role
Marketing Data & Knowledge Management
- Serve as the firmwide resource for marketing data, including project information, resumes, and pursuit content.
- Maintain and manage data within Deltek Vantagepoint (or Unanet), ensuring accuracy and usability for proposals and reporting.
- Gather, verify, and synthesize information from proposals, interviews, contracts, and project teams.
- Proactively engage with design teams to stay informed on active and upcoming projects, attending internal reviews or “on the boards” sessions to identify new work, track progress, and capture relevant data and visuals.
- Establish data governance standards, workflows, and quality control processes.
