About the Role
The Legal Mail and Data Specialist supports the Legal Department by ensuring documents, data, and legal correspondence are processed accurately and efficiently. This role plays an important part in keeping legal workflows moving by managing document uploads, handling legal mail, and supporting garnishment processing.

What You’ll Do
Document & Data Support
- Scan and upload documents into internal systems, ensuring accuracy and proper organization.
- Manage and complete legal assignments received through email.
- Maintain consistent processing of assigned workloads on a regular schedule.
Legal Processing
- Prepare and coordinate attorney letters for signature and distribution.
- Process garnishment-related tasks, including data entry and document preparation.
- Assist with preparing legal documents for service as needed.
Mail & Administrative Support
- Verify mailing information and prepare outgoing legal correspondence.
- Apply postmarks and coordinate delivery of mail to the Post Office.
- Support overall document flow between legal, administrative, and mail functions.
Compliance & Quality
- Follow all applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to collections and legal processes.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail to ensure compliance standards are met.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry and regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience

- Experience in legal, collections, or document-heavy environments is a plus.
