Summary Description:
As a Financial Analyst in our Commercial Finance team, you’ll be the financial lead for pricing strategy across a key sales channel within our private label manufacturing business. This high-visibility role partners directly with Commercial Sales, Plant Operations, Procurement, Product Development, Commercial Strategy, and Supply Chain to deliver smart, data-driven recommendations that fuel growth and profitability.
You’ll leverage financial modeling, cost analysis, and market insights to shape pricing decisions and recommendations in addition to supporting new product launches, as well as customer bids. If you thrive on solving complex problems, influencing cross-functional teams, and making a measurable impact, this role is for you.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with Commercial Sales to develop pricing strategies and build pro-forma P&Ls for new products and competitive bids.
- Analyze commodity trends, manufacturing costs, and market dynamics to assess pricing and margin impacts.
- Partner with Plant Operations and Supply Chain Finance to evaluate plant capabilities and cost drivers, identifying customer-specific opportunities.
- Work with Product Development and Procurement to understand ingredient and packaging costs and explore cost-effective alternatives.
- Apply structured pricing methodologies informed by internal data, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Lead financial modeling and pro-forma construction for new product initiatives and customer proposals.
