Business Intelligence/Financial Analyst

Summary:
This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of FinOps, contributing knowledge, analytics, data visualization, and business skills to support company objectives. This position will work independently within established policies and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including data collection, consolidation, and analysis to inform planning decisions.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and clear, concise commentary on performance versus budget and prior periods.
- Partner with department leaders to provide financial insights, support business initiatives, and proactively address analytical needs.
- Assist in evaluating business performance and initiatives through financial modeling, cost/benefit analysis, and ROI assessments; clearly communicate key drivers and implications.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and overall efficiency; support implementation of enhancements.
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, anomalies, and areas requiring attention.
- Analyze current and historical financial data to surface insights, risks, and opportunities.
- Build a working understanding of the business model, operations, and industry dynamics to better contextualize financial results.
- Maintain documentation and support cross-training efforts to promote consistency and scalability within the finance function.
- Deliver timely, well-structured ad hoc analysis and support special projects, with a focus on actionable insights.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Financial or Data Analytics experience. (Required)
- Manufacturing experience. (Required).
- Data visualization experience with programs such as PowerBI or Tableau is a plus
