The Opportunity:
Mattel Games Studios is seeking an experienced Data Analyst, LiveOps to take a key role in driving meaningful insights and providing recommendations to impact our business growth for a portfolio of upcoming games. The role will be supporting our game team and ensuring we are taking a data-driven approach towards success. This role will be responsible for taking projects end-to-end, from extracting data, building dashboards and communicating learnings to the broader team. The ideal candidate has a passion for mobile and free-to-play games, with a strong understanding of core F2P mechanics, monetization systems, and LiveOps strategies.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Provide best-in-class support and collaborate with the LiveOps team to optimize game performance such as game features, player behavior and economy balancing
- Analyze game performance across all stages of the development lifecycle and post launch, turning game data into actionable insights that drive improvements to retention, engagement and monetization
- Design, run and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses for new features, in-game events, or promotions in collaboration with the LiveOps and Design teams
- Build and maintain clear, actionable data visualizations and dashboards to track game KPIs
- Help establish best practices and build publishing standards for telemetry and data analysis
