Description

Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USAToday Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the financial management of our government contracts. This role requires a strong understanding of government contract finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for accuracy.

Work Location: On-site, Arlington, VA

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain financial models for government contracts.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Track and analyze contract performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
Assist with the development of pricing and cost proposals for new business opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all government accounting regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the financial success of our contracts.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. May substitute four (4) years of equivalent professional experience instead of a degree.
3+ years of experience in a financial analysis role, with a focus on government contracts.
Strong knowledge of FAR and CAS.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Desired Skills:

Experience with Deltek Costpoint or other government accounting software.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other professional certification.
