Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tableau Technical Support Specialist with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing technical support for Tableau, with a focus on troubleshooting, user assistance, and ensuring optimal performance of Tableau environments. This position requires a deep understanding of Tableau software, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a highly secure and sensitive environment.
This position is located in Chantilly.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Technical Support: Provides implementation and operations and maintenance support for Tableau Server. Utilizes Python/SQL to enhance dashboards. Loads and manages Tableau Server licenses. Establishes and maps live data connections.
. Environment Management: Manage and maintain Tableau Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. Coordinates and performs environment refreshes.
. Content Migration: Supports migration of content from legacy Tableau Server environment to current Tableau Server environment.
. User Assistance: Provisions Tableau users.
. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues related to Tableau, including performance tuning, data connectivity, and dashboard optimization.
. Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations.
. Collaboration: Work closely with Tableau developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of Tableau solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical support, with a focus on Tableau software.
. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep. Strong knowledge of SQL and data connectivity.
. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
