Overview
A growing organization is seeking an AI Business Analyst to join its IT team. This role focuses on driving AI initiatives across the business to improve processes, enhance software solutions, and support overall digital transformation efforts.
This position blends business analysis, project management, and hands-on AI application. The ideal candidate can identify opportunities, work across teams, and help implement practical AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize AI opportunities aligned with business goals
- Work with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and map processes
- Lead small cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation
- Build and prototype basic AI automations, workflows, or agents using modern tools
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate AI capabilities into software solutions
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable plans
- Support ongoing business analysis and project management efforts as needed
- Track and report on progress, adoption, and impact of AI initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 3–6+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or related roles
- Strong experience gathering requirements and working with stakeholders
- Hands-on exposure to AI tools and applications (through work, certifications, or self-study)
- Ability to build or experiment with AI workflows, automations, or basic scripting
- Experience supporting or implementing software or SaaS-based solutions
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and project delivery
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
- Experience with AI implementation in business or enterprise environments
- Exposure to generative AI tools and use cases
- Background in SaaS or technology-driven organizations
- Relevant certifications in AI, business analysis, or project management
Compensation
Salary range is approximately $130,000 – $150,000 depending on experience.
