Job Overview:
The Data Analyst role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to meet organizational requirements. This position transforms raw data from multiple sources into interactive visualizations, dashboards, and reports to support informed, data-driven decision-making in alignment with Government Team Lead (GTL) requirements.
Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence (BI) solutions to support organizational objectives.
- Transform raw data from various sources into meaningful visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
- Connect to and consolidate data from disparate sources, including enterprise systems (e.g., Army Vantage), databases (e.g., cProbe), spreadsheets, and cloud services.
- Conduct data modeling and transformation, including structuring, cleansing, and refining data to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Create tailored dashboards and reports that convert complex data into actionable insights.
- Monitor data source integrity and ensure efficiency and reliability of data transformation processes.
- Maintain expertise in Army data platforms and commercial BI tools for data analysis and visualization.
- Support ad hoc data analysis requests as required by the GTL.
