About this opportunity:
Looking for a candidate responsible for all aspects of donor database record keeping, maintenance and reporting in Interchange (Blackbaud software program). Assists in the development and implementation of best practices of database management in keeping with organizational policies. Provides database support for all functions of the Community Relations and Development Department to include but not limited to Angel Tree, Kettles, capital campaign and digital donations.
Key responsibilities:
Interchange Management (70%)
- Maintain an expert skill level of Interchange; monitor and update donor records as necessary; train local users in group and individual settings.
- Manage data transfers of all donations from digital platforms into Interchange and ensure acknowledgment letters are completed. Reconcile digital donations with Great Plains.
- Serve as a point of contact to donors who have questions regarding their donation; update the donor management system as necessary
- Maintains capital campaign records in Interchange, such as creating the pledge account, receipting pledge payments, and providing reports to the Area Commander, Director of Development, Major Gifts Director, and campaign consultants regarding the Capital Campaign.
- Research and recommends new and emerging trends for thanking donors in addition to working closely with Capital Campaign consultants in providing donor and other related information.
- Generate donor activity reports and other special reports as requested by the Area Commander, Director of Development and Major Gifts Director.
Community Relations and Development Support (30%)
- Create, implement, and maintain donor engagement and stewardship strategies with new, current, and lapsed donors.
- Maintain recordkeeping and coordinating between Social Services department, Finance department, and Human Resources all required data for reimbursable grants.
