Western States Lodging and Management is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic decision-making by building financial models, developing reporting tools, and delivering actionable insights that drive operational and financial performance across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain operational and financial analytics platforms
- Facilitate annual budgeting processes and ongoing financial forecasting
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and analytics for operational and regional teams
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for executive leadership
- Implement and manage reporting software and tools
- Analyze monthly property and corporate financial statements to identify trends and opportunities
- Create, document, and audit processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to improve efficiency and financial outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling
- Experience with database structures and reporting tools (SQL, Power BI, or similar preferred)
- Ability to work independently with high accuracy and minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and all levels of leadership
- Adaptability to new systems, tools, and evolving business needs
