S&W Wholesale Foods is looking for a Power BI - Data Specialist! In this role, you will design and maintain database solutions, deliver Power BI Dashboards, and help turn operational data into meaningful insights for our team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support reporting and analytics
- Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for leadership and operational teams
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple business systems and sources
- Oversee database management activities including schema design, indexing, performance tuning, and ongoing maintenance to ensure reliability and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to gather requirements and translate them into data models and reporting solutions
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing pipelines and data processes
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all data assets
- Document data workflows, pipeline architecture, and report logic
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual reporting and data processes
- Support ad hoc data requests and analysis as needed
