We have an opening for a Quality Control Data Specialist / Pharmacy Technician at our research site in Walnut Creek, CA! The Flourish Research Walnut Creek site, formerly known as Diablo Clinical Research in Walnut Creek, has proudly served the East Bay community for 30 years as a dedicated clinical research facility conducting Phase 1–3 trials with major pharmaceutical sponsors and biotech innovators.
The QC Data Specialist / Pharmacy Technician supports both quality control and pharmacy operations at the clinical research site. This hybrid role is approximately 70% focused on data quality tasks—including reviewing and entering clinical trial data—and 30% focused on assisting pharmacy operations, such as verifying investigational product preparation and maintaining compliance documentation. It is ideal for someone detail-oriented with a background in pharmacy or clinical research.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM
Location: 2255 Ygnacio Valley Road, Suite M, Walnut Creek, CA 94598
Compensation: $24/hr - $30/hr (depending on experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Control & Data (Approximately 70%):
- Conduct thorough and precise review of clinical trial data and source documentation across multiple therapeutic areas
- Perform data entry into multiple electronic platforms, ensuring accuracy and protocol compliance
- Review protocols and informed consents for completeness and alignment with regulatory and study requirements
- Identify and report discrepancies or trends in data to the QC Manager and study team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with coordinators, regulatory staff, and leadership to maintain study quality standards
Pharmacy Technician Duties (Approximately 30%):
- Support pharmacists in preparing and verifying IP according to protocol and batch/lot documentation
- Document all verification accurately and ensure compliance with GCP, SOPs, and pharmacy standards
- Assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory and organization of drug accountability logs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
- Valid Pharmacy Technician certification and state license
