Research Data Analyst - HRSA Projects (Internal Opportunity Only)

General Summary of Position:

This being an internal opportunity, only current UML Employees, irrespective of Bargaining units are eligible to apply for this position.

The Research Data Analyst position is a full time, one-year position with the possibility of renewal based on continued funding and job performance. Under the supervision of the PI, the Research Data Analyst will support evaluation activities for two HRSA-funded projects, "Street Medicine Interventions for People with HIV who are Unsheltered" and “Cultivate.” The Research Data Analyst will be responsible for contributing to data cleaning, management and analysis, administrative/program support, assisting with writing reports and dissemination of findings, and other duties as requested. 

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• Master’s degree in public health, psychology, sociology or related field.
• 1+ year of experience working with data management and/or statistical programming, which may include time while getting Master’s degree. 
•  Excellent communication skills; including written, oral, presentation, and facilitation.

Additional Considerations:

• Experience working in HIV/health research and/or public health; Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.

This position is full-time, benefited and in the Grants & Contracts union. Grade: P16 with anticipated salary of $67,000, with formal range of: minimum: $59,674, 25th quartile:  $67,879 and midpoint: $76,085.
