Job Description:

Metas Solutions has an immediate opening for a talented Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support an initiative to develop a Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) - focused quality management system (QMS) to assure foundational quality during the development and implementation of sequencing-based tests by providing customizable, ready-to-implement tools and resources that laboratories can use to standardize and institute quality management practices and procedures. This is a hybrid role and Atlanta Metro candidates preferred.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with technology
  • 3+ years of experience as a Requirements Analyst
  • Experience leading teams and client engagements
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira, and Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Scrum, and DevOps.
  • Experience distilling complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with thorough acceptance criteria
  • Experience identifying and assessing customer needs, performing requirements gathering, and analyzing data to determine solutions for issues
  • Experience presenting recommendations to product owners based on findings
  • Experience conducting current-state and target-state analysis and design for software applications
  • Experience with Public Health laboratory settings
  • Experience collaborating with laboratory scientists, bioinformaticians, software engineers, and QA teams
  • Experience translating scientific or technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working with federal and HHS organizations, including the CDC
  • Experience with bioinformatics pipelines and GitHub repositories
  • Experience Next Generation Sequencing
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, to successfully interact with clients
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience defining and tracking quality metrics, KPIs, and SLAs
  • Experience analyzing process performance and data quality
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Agile Certification
