We are seeking a candidate with over 7 years of experience, ideally combining project management and business analysis skills, and experience in developing project management plan standards; PMP certification and PA state government experience are preferred.Β 

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 7 years of professional experience

  • Experience in both project management (PM) and business analysis (BA) preferred

  • Proven experience writing project management plan standards or other standard documentation

Preferred Skills:
  • PMP certification preferred

The following standards are to be documented for the Project Management Office (PMO):

  • Project Management Framework and Methodology Standard

  • Governance Structure Standard

  • Project Lifecycle Management Standard

  • Risk Management Standard

  • Change Management Standard

  • Communications Management Standard

  • Stakeholder Management Standard

  • Resource Management Standard

  • Scope Management Standard

  • Quality Management Standard


Duties:
  • Facilitate a kickoff meeting with stakeholders to define project objectives, timelines, and roles and responsibilities.

  • Create a stakeholder management plan for the engagement.

  • Facilitate bi-weekly status meetings and deliver bi-weekly status reports outlining completed activities, upcoming tasks, risks, issues, and key milestones.

  • Conduct a current state analysis of project management processes.

  • Meet with identified stakeholders from delivery and program areas, as directed.

  • Develop current state process documentation and flowcharts.

  • Produce finalized standard documentation for each governance area, including:

    • Definition and purpose

    • Process flows and narrative

    • RAID+ log and its intended use

    • RACI charts

    • Use of Azure DevOps (ADO) as a standard tool

    • Relevant links (e.g., ADO entries for risks or issues)

  • Provide organizational change management support for the roll-out of governance standards to selected projects.
