Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will analyze financial data, processes, and systems to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role bridges the work of finance, IT, and operations ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and process optimization.
Duties include:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with finance leadership to define business requirements for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tools.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and scenario analysis.
  • Document and optimize finance processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Implement and enhance systems and financial reporting tools including use of AI-based solutions.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for senior management.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities by validating data accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for proposed projects and initiatives.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP principles, and budgeting processes
  • Proven ability to communicate high level financial information.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modeling and data visualizations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools
  • Express confidential, ethical and professional behaviors.
  • Criminal background check that meets Agency standards
