The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical individual who can take initiative, multitask effectively, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. The Business Analyst will collaborate with clients, vendors, IT teams, leadership, and operations to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • ActĀ asĀ aĀ liaisonĀ betweenĀ businessĀ stakeholdersĀ andĀ technicalĀ teams,Ā ensuringĀ clear communicationĀ andĀ understandingĀ ofĀ projectĀ objectives.
  • GatherĀ andĀ documentĀ businessĀ requirementsĀ fromĀ stakeholdersĀ toĀ understandĀ their needsĀ andĀ objectives.
  • CreateĀ detailedĀ documentationĀ ofĀ requirements,Ā workflows,Ā andĀ outcomesĀ to support project developmentĀ andĀ implementation.
  • ProposeĀ andĀ implementĀ solutionsĀ thatĀ alignĀ withĀ businessĀ goals,Ā enhancing operational efficiency andĀ effectiveness.
  • GenerateĀ reportsĀ toĀ communicateĀ findingsĀ andĀ insightsĀ effectivelyĀ toĀ stakeholders and management.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and identify process improvements.
  • Partner with project managers and senior leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals.
  • Work with urgency and adaptability in a high-growth environment.
  • Utilize Valeris’ values as the driving force behind the team’s success

  • On time adherence to training deadlines for all corporate policies and procedures

  • Ensure all SOPs are followed with consistency

  • Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT; healthcare experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years as a Business Analyst with experience in requirements elicitation and documentation.
  • Strong technical aptitude with troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word).
  • Experience creating screen mocks and diagramming process flows.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools is preferred.
  • Agile methodology and product ownership experience is preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Ā· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Prefer candidates who can type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy.

Ā· Although very minimal, flexibility to travel as needed is preferred.

Ā· This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
