We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedβ€―Business Analyst (BA)β€―to join our Platform Engineering team to help drive clarity, momentum, and results. As a key member of our Agile Scrum organization, you'll be the linchpin between business needs and technical execution-owning the feature pipeline, crafting clear and actionable user stories, and ensuring our developers are empowered to deliver value without roadblocks.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Backlog Management:β€―Own and refine the product backlog, ensuring epics and user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
  • Jira Administration:β€―Manage and optimize our Jira workflows, dashboards, and reporting to support sprint planning, tracking, and retrospectives.
  • Agile Collaboration:β€―Partner closely with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to facilitate sprint ceremonies and ensure delivery readiness.
  • Business Enablement:β€―Proactively identify and remove business-related blockers for the development team, including clarifying requirements, aligning stakeholders, and resolving dependencies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support the stakeholders with demos, retrospectives, and release notes with crisp, business-friendly insights.
  • AI-Enhanced Analysis:β€―Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to:
    • Rapidly draft user stories and acceptance criteria from stakeholder input.
    • Use AI tooling like Canva, Magic Patterns, and Mockey.ai to build mockups and functional prototypes to gain stakeholder feedback.
    • Analyze customer feedback and usage data to identify future opportunities.
    • Generate test scenarios or edge cases to support QA planning as well as assist with QA testing.
    • Summarize sprint outcomes or backlog trends for executive reporting.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education and Certifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.

Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile/Scrum environments; Demonstrated experience writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Preferred Experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or enterprise SaaS environments including familiarity with tools such as Figma, Asana, and/or Miro

Skills/Competencies: Strong proficiency withβ€―Jiraβ€―(including custom fields, workflows, dashboards, and filters) as well as Microsoft Office/Office 365. Familiarity with AI tools in a business analysis context (e.g., using LLMs to accelerate documentation, automate insights, or enhance stakeholder communication). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
