Job Description

Our client requires a Business Analyst to work on activities in support of the Web Application Services for numerous projects. The role of business analyst is to analyze and document business processes and business requirements to assess the business model or its integration with technology.

Qualifications

• Proposed resource must be able to attend interview in person in Edmonton.

• Experience working as a lead BA on large digital and web design projects involving multiple functional teams (Please provide details)

• Experience working in an ICT environment

• Experience working as a business analyst developing all of the following: use cases, user stories, wireframes, process flows, state diagrams, business requirements and functional specification documents, and impact/gap analysis reports

• Experience working as a business analyst on web development projects spanning the full software development lifecycle (experience in each step of the lifecycle must be demonstrated)

• Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with business and technology partners, subject matter experts to obtain consensus and support for required changes or enhancements (examples must be provided)

• Experience working concurrent projects

DESIRABLES

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Experience providing feedback on test strategies, test plans and implementation documentations
• Experience translating customer business needs into requirements to support their website strategy
• Experience with website / mobile design and wireframe process including prototyping tools such as Axure, OmniGraffle and/or Balsamiq
• Experience as working in an agile environment as a business analyst
• Support the development of business cases, RFIs or RFPs
• The ability to learn quickly, problem solve/troubleshoot, work independently and in a team
• The ability to: manage stress and manage conflict
• Experience leading stakeholder website usability studies and incorporating findings into website designs
• Experience with user interface and usability (Information Architecture), heuristic evaluation and web accessibility
• Experience establishing website success metrics to support analytics and experience analyzing and understanding web metrics and analytics
• Experience with the integration of social media tools within websites
• Experience eliciting requirements and testing the usability of a mobile application
• Experience with web content management systems and processes
• Experience with usability testing, A/B testing and key performance measurement (KPI’s) for websites and applications
