Business Analyst-Cruise Ship Experience

Insight is seeking a Business Analyst for an exciting opportunity with one of our top Cruise Line clients. This position is onsite in the Miami, FL area. Candidates must have a valid US passport and ability to travel 30-40% as needed. Highly desire candidates with Cruise Ship Reservation application and/or Hotel Reservation application experience.
What You Will Do:
- Determine requirements and objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements.
- Translate information into written requirements which can be understood by technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analyzing vendors and solutions for implementation.
- Build compelling, interactive and actionable reporting.
- Support the full life-cycle from requirements analysis, through design & development, into release and support/maintenance phases.
- Develop comprehensive end to end test cases at the application and multi-application levels
- Implement a comprehensive management plan for each venue and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated on progress.
- Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects.
What Will You Need:
- Experience translating business requirements into system requirements, evaluating vendor solutions.
- Cruise Ship booking application and/or hotel reservation application experience.
- 5+ years of BA work experience
- Detailed analytical abilities
- Strong experience in user testing and project management
- Practical application ability with Microsoft Office and Visio
- Highly Desired: Maritime IT Applications experience, especially with DNV regulations and SOLAS requirement
