Total Business Analyst (Payments) Experience: minimum 2 years

Skills & Expertise:
- Knowledge of at least one of Canada's electronic payments (domestic and international) : Direct Deposits, Pre-Authorized Debits, Wire Payments, and/or clearing systems : LVTS, ACSS
- Knowledge of stages in payments processing from initiation to clearing and settlement : channel validations, file/API format validation, process flows, user interfaces, business validations, clearing handoff, accounting, response processing etc.
- Knowledge of at least one of the industry standards for payment file formats (SWIFT MT : 1xx,2xx,9xx and/or ISO20022 pain,pacs,camt,remt and/or Payments Canada CPA 005)
- Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into necessary documentation - process flows, user journeys/stories, functional specifications.
- Efficient written and verbal communications along with good presentation and workshop/training facilitation skills
- Strong learning appetite, attention to detail and ability to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders

Preferred:
- Experience in working with/for at least one of the tier-1 banks or fintech companies in Canada
- Experience of working on any of the below applications
- Payment Initiation Channel - Internet, Mobile, API, Host-to-Host
- Payment Processing - Pre-processor HUB, Payment Engine / Gateway
- Proven analytical and documentation skills
