POSITION SUMMARY:
Business & Data Analyst
This position is in our Operations Center of Excellence directly supporting senior leadership, operation executives, and external customers for all business-related reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reports using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, complex formulas).
- Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and special projects as needed to support specific business initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Design visually appealing charts, graphs, and infographics in Excel and PowerPoint to communicate key insights.
- Build professional, brand-compliant PowerPoint decks with effective slide design, animation, and embedded media.
- Partner with operational and cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements, define metrics, and translate business needs into effective analytics solutions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing reporting processes and automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- BI Dashboard Development: Create, optimize, and manage interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports in Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across various business functions.
Qualifications:
- Preferred bachelor's degree in business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, Power Query a plus). 2+ Years of experience desired
- Demonstrated expertise in Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX expressions, and data visualization.
- Ability to understand data, identify trends, and translate numbers into clear narratives.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
