Business Intelligence Engineer

This is an in-person role out of our office in Meridian, ID, local candidates preferred! Please note, we cannot hire anyone who has visa sponsorship.

What you'll do:

• Design & Optimize Scalable Data Pipelines – Develop and maintain efficient ETL workflows using Databricks and modern data platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
• Architect & Manage Data Systems – Build and optimize data warehouses, models, and transformation processes, implementing CI/CD best practices to ensure seamless deployments and version control
• Empower Business with Data-Driven Insights – Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop scalable data solutions that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making
• Ensure Data Integrity & Security – Support data governance initiatives, enforce compliance standards, and implement best practices for secure data management.
• Drive AI/ML-Enabled Analytics – Structure high-quality datasets that support AI/ML applications, staying ahead of emerging data technologies

What we're looking for:

• Proficiency in SQL and Python with experience handling large datasets and optimizing data processing
• At least two years of experience in data modeling, database design, and building scalable ETL pipelines
• Expertise in data warehousing concepts, including performance optimization and scalability
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Databricks, Snowflake, or similar distributed computing platforms
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP for cloud data processing and infrastructure
  • Multiple data formats and sources, including JSON, flat files, PostgreSQL, and web services
• Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test 
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Value in all interactions with customers and co-workers
