Trilogy Federal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Claims Data Analyst with proven experience with Veterans Health Administration (VHA) claims to join our team. As a Claims Data Analyst, extensive experience is required in Claims data analysis and leading BI tools, preferredĀ PowerĀ BIĀ orĀ Databricks. Knowledge of VHA claims is required, with a strong preference for experience with the VFMP.Ā

This role will ensure data analysis for claims and related areas. The chosen candidate willĀ be responsible forĀ developing reports and dashboards.Ā If you are a senior-level BI professional who thrives at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and mission-driven federal healthcare, this role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise reporting, influence executive decision-making, and improve services delivered to our nation’s veterans.Ā

Experience withĀ AcentraĀ (formerly CNSI) Electronic Claims Adjudication Management System (eCAMS) Electronic Healthcare Claims Edition/Engine (HCE) along with any other key legacy platforms/solutions related to VFMP or Non-CCNĀ will help in performing duties.Ā 
Ā 
This position may require occasional travel in support of client needs and expectations.Ā 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements andĀ understandĀ the underlying model.Ā 
  • Develop reports and dashboards for claims andĀ othersĀ health areas.Ā 
  • Document all the steps involved in identification,Ā extractionĀ and transformation of dataĀ 
  • IdentifyĀ opportunities for process improvements and contribute to developing actionable recommendations to enhance program performance.Ā 
  • Lead multi-stakeholder workshops and presentations, clearly articulating integrationĀ prioritiesĀ and constraints to both executive and technical audiences.Ā 
  • Support interpretation of analytics and performance metrics across integrated systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’sĀ degreeĀ required.Ā 
  • Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Claims system/processing experience
  • MinimumĀ 8Ā yearsĀ total experience.Ā 
  • ExpertiseĀ inĀ leading industry business intelligence tools.Ā 
  • AgilityĀ and abilityĀ to changeĀ courseĀ based on shifting plans, priorities, and timelines.Ā 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation,Ā and communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.Ā 
  • Excellent organizational skillsĀ and strong attention to detail.Ā 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.Ā 
  • Ability to thrive inĀ a dynamic environment focused on learning, opportunities for impact, and collaboration with colleagues.Ā 
  • Proficient inĀ the followingĀ MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Ā 
  • The ability to obtainĀ PublicĀ Trust Clearance.Ā 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the department of Veterans Affairs
  • Experience with VFMP claims

$95,000 - $105,000 a year
This range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as Trilogy Federal conducts an individual equity review for every candidate based on experience, location, education, industry experience, and comparisons to internal pay bands.
