Job Description:
The ERP Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data within the ERP system. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and project coordination skills, involving close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Reporting directly to the ERP manager, this role involves maintaining data integrity, overseeing access control, and actively contributing to the management and improvement of the ERP system.
Responsibilities:
· Create and maintain common data in the ERP and establish general parameters.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold common data standards across the organization.
· Monitor data quality, identify, and resolve data integrity issues.
· Develop and implement data validation and verification processes.
· Maintain and update EDI integration for seamless data flow between the ERP system and external systems.
· Implement and manage data models on the BI tool to ensure consistency and integrity.
· Utilize database skills to enhance BI data models.
· Create and manage access control to functions and data on ERP and BI tools.
· Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.
· Ensure high availability of licenses for users on the ERP and BI tool.
· Coordinate the daily operation of the ERP system, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
· Collaborate and troubleshoot to maintain functionality, common data, and operations in the ERP and its reporting tools.
· Act as a liaison between upper management and end users in the implementation and maintenance of ERP solutions.
· Provide support via the ticket center on issues related to the ERP.
· Deliver training sessions to users on ERP usage.
· Create and maintain data models of databases to support analysis and reporting.
In addition to the specific duties outlined, you may be required to perform other tasks and responsibilities as deemed necessary by your manager. These tasks will be relevant to your role and within the scope of your area of expertise.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
· 2+ years’ experience in CRM, WMS, or ERP administration role.
· 1+ years’ experience with IT helpdesk or customer support.
· 2+ years' experience in the execution of IT projects with a good understanding of best practices.
· Crystal Report knowledge is a plus.
· Proactive, great attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
