As a Data Analyst, you will support strategic initiatives by analyzing datasets, identifying trends, and delivering clear, meaningful insights to stakeholders. You will ensure data integrity and compliance while helping optimize and enhance our members' (customers') experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI to visualize financial, member engagement, and operational metrics.
  • Analyze datasets to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and process improvement across departments.
  • Utilize SQL to extract and transform data from systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and adherence to data governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand data needs, conduct analysis, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and streamline processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Translate technical findings into actionable business insights and present them clearly to management and stakeholders.
  • Integrate new data sources into the data warehouse and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata for clarity and consistency.
  • Monitor and improve data quality, proactively addressing gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Automate recurring reports and enable self-service analytics for business users.
  • Actively engage in credit union activities, including volunteering, participating in Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and/or supporting community initiatives, as part of annual performance expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of related experience in a financial institution.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Excel, R, or Python).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Knowledge of databases, data mining, and data management best practices.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.

Compensation Range (exempt): $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. Employees are eligible for yearly merit increases based on performance.
