Data Analyst and Special Projects (Insurance)

Reporting to the Manager of Accident and Health (A&H) Strategy and Process Optimization, the successful candidate will gather data from multiple sources, identify key insights, and produce analytical reports to support internal teams and external partners within the department.

β€’ Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
β€’ Weekday schedule from 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm
β€’ Hybrid 3 days in office / 2 days from home
β€’ 3 weeks vacation

Responsibilities:
β€’ Identify and report business risks and monitor compliance requirements.
β€’ Maintain audit and compliance procedures aligned with industry
β€’ standards.
β€’ Generate reports for insurers and partners per contractual obligations.
β€’ Automate and optimize reporting workflows.
β€’ Coordinate collection of compliance data across departments for audits and investigations.
β€’ Support system implementations and Service Center initiatives.
β€’ Contribute to A&H projects, and compliance enhancements.

What you will need to succeed:
β€’ College Diploma / University Degree (an asset)
β€’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar data analysis role
β€’ Bilingualism (English/French) required
β€’ Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, etc.) required
β€’ Experience managing large data sets and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
β€’ In-depth knowledge of the health insurance sector and related regulations (an asset)
β€’ Basic understanding of project management
β€’ Attention to detail: accuracy is essential
β€’ Excellent organizational and time management skills
β€’ Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize urgent requests
β€’ Strategic mindset with a creative, solution-oriented approach
β€’ Ability to work independently
β€’ Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability
