Summary


The Data Analyst is a pivotal role that supports the Lead Agile Coach and project managers by transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and strategy. The analyst will be responsible for gathering, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities. By designing and implementing data models, creating dashboards, and generating reports, you will effectively communicate findings to project leadership. Utilizing your expertise in SQL and Excel, you will extract and manipulate data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Your critical thinking and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of data-driven processes. Additionally, the Data Analyst will track and analyze performance metrics such as team velocity, burn-down charts, and other productivity indicators to provide insights and enable data-driven decisions, ensuring efficient and collaborative project execution.


Responsibilities

  • Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Design and implement data models, create dashboards, and generate reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Extract and manipulate data from various sources using SQL and Excel, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics like team velocity and burn-down charts to provide insights and enable data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and generate metric-based reports for Project Managers or Agile Coach, including monthly Agile artifacts and client deliverables.
  • Support coordination and execution of Quarterly Planning, Technical Information Exchange Meetings (TIEM), and other meetings by recording notes, action items, and capturing future initiatives.
Requirements
  • 1+ years’ working in Agile environments, preferably in a role supporting scrum teams
  • 1+ years’ supporting meetings and workshops, and articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • 1+ years’ experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or management area, or, supporting certifications and 4 years’ relevant job or military experience in lieu of degree
  • Active Secret Clearance, TS preferred with SCI eligibility. The position may require a polygraph examination.Β
