Scope
Main Functions
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports in Power BI and Spotfire to support operational and performance insights within Permian WD (Drilling & Completions) operations
  • Import, cleanse, validate, and transform datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Analyze trends, correlations, and performance drivers to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Present data in charts, graphs, and tables using visualization tools
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and continuous improvement teams to understand data needs and translate business questions into analytical solutions
  • Support Permian drilling and completions data workflows, helping drive performance optimization and operational visibility
  • Work with minimal direction while applying advanced technical knowledge and strong analytical capability
  • This role typically includes a highly experienced Data Analyst, operating at an expert level, potentially with professional certification
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Power BI and/or Spotfire for building dashboards, reports, and visualizations
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating datasets
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and provide clear, actionable insights
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with engineering and operations stakeholders
  • Experience with Databricks and working knowledge of Python is a plus
  • Experience with Upstream Drilling & Completions datasets (Permian WD) is strongly preferred
