Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports in Power BI and Spotfire to support operational and performance insights within Permian WD (Drilling & Completions) operations
Import, cleanse, validate, and transform datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Analyze trends, correlations, and performance drivers to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
Present data in charts, graphs, and tables using visualization tools
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and continuous improvement teams to understand data needs and translate business questions into analytical solutions
Support Permian drilling and completions data workflows, helping drive performance optimization and operational visibility
Work with minimal direction while applying advanced technical knowledge and strong analytical capability
This role typically includes a highly experienced Data Analyst, operating at an expert level, potentially with professional certification
Skills and Qualifications
Proficiency in Power BI and/or Spotfire for building dashboards, reports, and visualizations
Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating datasets
Ability to analyze complex datasets and provide clear, actionable insights
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with engineering and operations stakeholders
Experience with Databricks and working knowledge of Python is a plus
Experience with Upstream Drilling & Completions datasets (Permian WD) is strongly preferred
