E-Logic is seeking experienced Data Specialists to join our team in support of the U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO). The Data Specialist will provide consulting services to litigation teams and perform a broad range of technical duties related to early case assessment, eDiscovery, ESI processing, and litigation support. This role requires experience with advanced eDiscovery tools, litigation software, and a deep understanding of the electronic discovery process to ensure compliance with legal obligations and successful trial preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting services to litigation teams on early case assessment, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
- Advise litigation teams on the use of Technology Assisted Review (TAR) tools and compliance with discovery obligations.
- Perform analysis and processing of ESI in support of district litigation.
- Handle file manipulation, data conversion, and loading services.
- Collaborate with client agencies to ensure proper collection, review, preservation, and disclosure of ESI in investigations and discovery.
- Organize and prepare discovery documents for automated storage, retrieval, and review using eDiscovery software.
- Conduct quality control reviews of ESI to ensure completeness, data integrity, and proper formatting.
- Support litigation teams in document analysis, data management, and litigation support strategies.
- Use advanced eDiscovery and legal support software such as Relativity, Nuix, IPRO Eclipse SE, CaseMap, TimeMap, Cloud Nine Law, and others.
- Assist with trial preparation and evidence presentation, including IPRO Trial Director and related software.
- Create searchable PDF portfolios, convert and organize various document types, and prepare files for upload into litigation databases.
- Generate logs, reports, summaries, and conduct document searches using advanced AI tools.
- Assist with setting up hosted websites for online document review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (3 years of directly relevant experience may substitute for degree).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation support, electronic discovery, or technology support in a law firm, federal agency, or top eDiscovery vendor.
- Strong technical expertise with eDiscovery platforms and litigation databases.
- Proficiency with Relativity (Administrator/Case Manager functions preferred).
- Working knowledge of Nuix, IPRO Eclipse, Concordance, Cloud Nine Law, Beyond Compare, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant eDiscovery tools.
- Understanding of the litigation lifecycle, eDiscovery workflows, and legal document review.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform under tight deadlines and in high-pressure environments.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.
