The Document and Data Specialist will plan and execute Product Master Data and Documentation activities to include the documentation of business and technical processes as well as monitoring and analyzing data and documentation relationships across the PLM, ERP (SAP), and other supporting software within the organization.Β Work to ensure process and product data is current and flowing to support business operations as well as procedures are created and accurate.Β Β Β Β Β
Β Responsibilities:
- Participate with team to ensure data and documentation quality and integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support flow of data/documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies to be made in the process of product and process data creation and harmonization and document management.
- Maintain procedural documentation of processes to share with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity
- In collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards, supports data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable in the Product Lifecycle Management tool.
- Organize and maintain records and documents within the organization, reviewing for accuracy and ensuring proper stakeholder review is completed.
- Administer enterprise-wide document management system to capture, store, retrieve and manage electronic records.
- Ensure Quality Management System documentation is reviewed and completed in a timely manner, including Supplier Corrective Action, Corrective and Preventive Action, Supplier Change management, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Templates and Forms, Technical Reports, Training Management and Reference documentation.
- Oversee the processing of Change Management of technical and business documentation and specifications.
- Ensure all internal stakeholders have access to data required through product development and product launch activities.
- Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements
- Assist in data analytics across systems relative to Quality data, including customer feedback, compliance to global serialization, quality inspection data, and quality systems data.
- Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements
Β Qualifications and Attributes:
- Bachelorβs degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field required
- Familiar withbk Document Management role
- Experience with ERP β SAP preferred
- Experience with CRM β Salesforce preferred
- Strong Excel knowledge a must
