WSP is currently seeking a full-time Early Career Project Controls Data Analyst to join our Project Controls team. Β This position is open to our Seattle-WA, Minneapolis-MN, Austin-TX, Fort Lauderdale-FL, and New York-NY offices.Β

Your Impact
- Support project management in the construction or engineering sector by leveraging data analytics and visualization tools to enhance decision-making, with a focus on early-career development in project controls.
- Dashboard Development: Coordinate closely with project teams and the project controls department to design, develop, and maintain informative PowerBI dashboards that visualize key project metrics, timelines, and performance indicators.
- Data Analysis: Analyze project data from various sources, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports, to identify trends, variances, and potential risks, using data analytics techniques to provide actionable insights.
- Report Compilation: Assist in compiling comprehensive reports by gathering, organizing, and interpreting data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for stakeholders such as project managers and executives.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, refine data models, and present findings through clear visualizations and summaries.
- Data Management: Maintain data integrity by cleaning, validating, and updating datasets in tools like PowerBI, Excel, or related software, while adhering to best practices in data governance.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of project controls processes by suggesting enhancements to dashboards, analytics methods, or reporting workflows based on observed efficiencies.
- Training and Support: Provide basic training and support to team members on PowerBI usage and data interpretation to foster a data-driven culture within the project environment.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in data analytics, PowerBI, or project controls preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to learn construction-specific software quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or work experience in project controls, project management, construction management, or related field.Β

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $65,600 - $96,030
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicantβs education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
