Position Summary
As the data analyst you will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing insights to drive informed decision-making across our organization.Β  You will work closely with managers and directors to present findings in a clear and concise manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gather data from primary and secondary sources.
  • Clean, validate, and organize data for analysis.
  • Use statistical tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to answer business questions.
  • Design and maintain visualizations using software tools.
  • Prepare clear reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Translate data findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Work with departments to support decision-making processes.
  • Maintain databases and data systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
  • Work closely with business, IT, and product teams to understand needs and deliver insights.
  • Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide updates or alerts on changes.
  • Keep up with industry trends, new tools, and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Ensure data handling complies with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure reports are submitted timely and accurately.
  • Manage the agency QI committee and process.
  • Gather and analyze employee survey data.
  • Establish a good working relationship with the State of Kansas data team to streamline submission of monthly reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.Β  2+ years of experience with data collecting/reporting.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. This individual should be able to effectively navigate our Electronic Health Records following initial training.
