Job Description

This position will be responsible for assisting in the ARC Command finance office. Primary functions will include assisting with general ledger analysis, receipt and payable review and analysis. Preparing the ARC Dashboards, financial summary, and analytics monthly. Assist ARC with the preparation of annual Budgets, and Monthly ARC budget reviews. Preparation of monthly & annual Financial Reports. Β Various Insurance premium analysis, and THQ reserve balance analysis. Supply assistance to the Center bookkeepers in preparation for the annual budget, Assessments and monthly dashboard analysis as needed.

  • Assist as necessary in the preparation of annual audit schedules
  • Preparation of monthly ARC financial statements, dashboards, budget analysis, analytics
  • Prepare Annual General Assessments for the ARCs
  • Update and implement financial control and security measures
  • Reconciliation of the ARC operating bank accounts as needed basis.
  • Ensure that all General Ledger & various modules are always in balance.
  • Ensure that management is aware of any challenges or problem areas as they arise.
  • Consult with the Controller on FASB/Consolidation matters on as needed basis.
  • Assist with ARC Accounting functions on as needed basis
  • Assist with ARC Bank Reconciliations on as needed basis
  • Training & Support to ARC Accounting Personnel (Accounting Package/PoS System Resolution).
  • Cost of room and board calculation.
  • Conduct online training, webinar, and quarterly conference call for bookkeepers
  • Perform research analysis for ARCs and various departments.
  • Monitor month-end cut-off of Centers Financial Data.
  • Monthly Store Sales analysis and synopsis
  • Point of Sale custom Report setup
  • Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army

Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting (CPA Preferred) or five (5) years of equivalent work experience in a business field.
  • Working knowledge of Acumatica, Microsoft Office Suite, and exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Β Knowledge of Bank Reconciliations, budget preparations and data analysis. Knowledge of ADP Vantage is also helpful.
