Job Summary

The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and analysis activities for the company. The role will be responsible for providing financial insights, variance analysis, and performance metrics to allow leadership to make data-driven decisions.

Your Impact and Job Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing annual budgeting, long-term planning, and rolling forecasts
• Prepares consolidated monthly reporting of P&L Actuals vs Budget
• Coordinates with accounting on the month end close process with booking accruals
• Collaborates with senior leaders and department heads on departmental expense reporting
• Prepares analysis for department expenses and identifies risks and opportunities to budget
• Responsible for the analysis of financial performance variances to budget and forecast
• Prepares analysis and tracks financial progress of key strategic initiatives
• Assists with any other Ad hoc reporting as needed to support the business
• Reviews and recommend continual development and improvement opportunities for the budgeting and forecasting tools.

What You’ll Bring- Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
• 0 to 2+ years of experience in a similar role and/or internship experience in a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
• Yardi, Vena, and/or another budgeting tool experience a plus 
• Strong problem solver with the ability to present solutions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to track multiple priorities
• Positive attitude with a commitment to excellence and integrity
• Manage time well; correctly prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines

The typical base salary hiring range for this role is $57,000.00-$75,000.00 per year, plus bonus program participation. 

The pay range is a base pay only and does not include any additional compensation or bonuses that this position may be eligible for. The pay range is approximate and the actual pay may vary depending on related work experience, certifications, education, and other job related factors.
