Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst - Acquisitions - to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating and executing acquisition opportunities to support the company's growth strategy. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent financial modeling skills. An understanding of the lawn care industry is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do:
• Conduct financial due diligence efforts for potential acquisition targets
• Collaborate across departments to ensure complete and accurate analysis of all data
• Develop and maintain acquisition models that forecast financial impact on the company
• Assist with the financial integration of newly acquired businesses
• Build annual budgets to project transaction impact
• Communicate financial forecasts and assumptions to key stakeholders
• Crosstrain on accounting and finance functions to deepen understanding of business operations
• Provide ad hoc financial support to the broader Finance team

What You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in roles such as financial analyst, GL accountant, or internal auditor
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of financial and cost accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, modeling, etc.)
• Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
