                               Financial Analyst

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare weekly scorecard reporting.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting.
  • Review and analyze financial results and trends.
  • Perform adhoc financial analysis as required.
  • Audit invoicing for accuracy of contract and inputs.
  • Support month-end close processes to ensure that monthly financial results are posted accurately and timely and help develop consistent month end close processes as future acquisitions are completed and integrated.
  • Support due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions and integration of systems and processes after acquisitions are completed
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to improve existing processes.
  • Ability to work in multiple systems.  Will need to have an in-depth knowledge with Microsoft Excel.
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and tasks as needed.
  • Cross functional training to support team members.
  • Collaborates with cross functional departments as needed.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Accounting degree or equivalent work experience
  • Transportation or M&A experience is preferred
