Financial Analyst
Essential Functions:
- Prepare weekly scorecard reporting.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting.
- Review and analyze financial results and trends.
- Perform adhoc financial analysis as required.
- Audit invoicing for accuracy of contract and inputs.
- Support month-end close processes to ensure that monthly financial results are posted accurately and timely and help develop consistent month end close processes as future acquisitions are completed and integrated.
- Support due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions and integration of systems and processes after acquisitions are completed
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to improve existing processes.
- Ability to work in multiple systems. Will need to have an in-depth knowledge with Microsoft Excel.
- Perform miscellaneous projects and tasks as needed.
- Cross functional training to support team members.
- Collaborates with cross functional departments as needed.

Education and experience requirements:
- Accounting degree or equivalent work experience
- Transportation or M&A experience is preferred
