Description

I. Position Function Summary

Under the direction of the CFO, The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports and management dashboards, and providing insights to support the CFO in making strategic financial decisions. The role involves evaluating historical and current financial data, developing financial models, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.


II. Essential ResponsibilitiesΒ Β 

  • Analyze Financial Data: Evaluate historical and current financial data to understand the company’s financial condition and identify trends.
  • Prepare Reports: Create data-driven reports to support the management team in making strategic business decisions.
  • Develop Financial Models: Build financial models that forecast business outcomes and profitability.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Risk Assessment: Measure financial risk associated with investment decisions and provide recommendations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Support analysis of existing federal grants, contracts, and insurance and other risk relationships.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather necessary financial information and provide insights.
  • Other duties as assigned;Β 


Requirements

IV. Education, Experience and Skills/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CFA, CPA, MBA or other relevant certifications, preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role. Experience working in a similar role within the healthcare industry, preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present financial reporting
  • Ability to identify issues and develop solutions to financial challenges.
  • Highly experienced in financial software and tools such as Excel, SAP, or similar.
  • Experience with electronic Health Records (EHR) clinical and billing systems highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting
  • LFMC required training Including, but not limited to: basic Annual Safety, HIPAA Training;
  • Basic Knowledge and ability of general office procedures including filing, copying, faxing, use of a computer, to multitask within established deadlines, work under the direction of a supervisor and follow instructions for work completion, and take initiative to resolve patient concerns and problems;
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, preferred.
