Financial Analyst

We have an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst. This role will be responsible for forecasting and monitoring the progress of Studios and their projects.

This position is hybrid in our LA office.

  Responsibilities include:  

• Work with Project Managers and Studio Directors to ensure their project plans are fully budgeted (staff, consultants and other expenses) and on track for profitability.
• Monthly Studio financial reporting.
• Preparing and maintaining account reconciliations, supporting month-end close and year-end CPA audits/reviews.
• Prepare/analyze various performance reports: utilization, project health/profitability.
• Investigating project variances and submitting variance reports to management.

Qualifications: 

• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Strong systems skills: Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables), ERP Software (Deltek preferred).
• Strong organizational skills, quick learner and attention to detail
• Exceptional skills analyzing planning data versus actuals data
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Strong collaboration skills with an ability to skillfully work alongside and build strong relationships internally and externally
• Detailed knowledge of planning, budgeting, monitoring and profitability
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the Architecture or Engineering field, or with a strong project tracking and profitability component
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field
