Financial Analyst Intern

Clean Harbors is looking for a Financial Analyst Intern to sit in Norwell, MA. The Financial Analyst Interns is responsible for internal financial statement production and for facilitating the operating budget and forecast processes.

• Compile and deliver timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements from internal system reporting including, month end results, requests for financial support and KPI packages for Sr. Management. 
• Create ad-hoc analysis for user community utilizing a variety of internal systems and applications.
• Assist with the creation of input templates, the consolidation of the annual operating plan, and with the bi-weekly forecast
• Assist with creation of new tools and models in Excel and PowerBI as needed 
• Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls associated with financial reporting
• Manage key reporting and analysis processes by identifying process improvement opportunities and assisting with implementation of solutions. 
• Other assigned duties

• Pursuing a degree in Finance
• Strong PC skills, knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Able to maintain confidentiality and to prioritize between multiple tasks
• Ability to interface and collaborate with people throughout the company on a regular basis
• Must be highly organized
• Strong presentation skills
• Attention to detail
