The Financial Analyst partners with senior staff and department leadership on physician compensation administration as well as the annual operating and capital budget processes. In this role, the Analyst applies strong problem-solving skills and demonstrates a commitment to high-quality customer service responsiveness. The Analyst also collaborates on monthly invoicing, payroll processes for per diem providers, and physician compensation calculations for USC Care faculty and community medical group members. Through this work, the Analyst contributes analysis and decision support that guide the ongoing development of compensation models. The Financial Analyst performs work at an intermediate level to conduct reviews, interprets and analyzes financial data to address a variety of departmental needs. The role compiles and evaluates information from multiple systems, exercising discretion to ensure accuracy, reliability, and applicability of conclusions. The Analyst demonstrates initiative and independence in managing workload and priorities, while contributing to departmental objectives through professional analysis and reporting.
