POSITION SUMMARY: The Franchise Business Analyst supports data‑driven decision making across the sales field and sales leadership teams. This role partners with business stakeholders to develop, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytics that address both operational and tactical business questions. Responsibilities include producing performance reports, analyzing trends, and translating data into clear insights that support informed decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, solid business acumen, and the ability to communicate findings clearly. This role is well‑suited for someone who is comfortable working independently on defined deliverables, collaborates effectively with cross‑functional partners, and is eager to continue growing analytical and business partnership skills. Β  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Develop and deliver operating reports on sales performance, trends, productivity and other key metrics Analyze data in ambiguous situations to identify trends, patterns, gaps and insights that extend beyond descriptive analytics Collect, validate, analyze and distribute sales data in a timely and accurate manner Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences Partner with sales management and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and support ongoing decision making Participate in requirements gathering sessions to define reporting, dashboard, and visualization needs Maintain and update standard updates, dashboards, and data models Document reporting logic, methodologies, and processes to support consistency and scalability Develop a working understanding of AtriCure’s data sources, systems, and reporting tools Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and automation over time Manage multiple priorities and deliverables while adapting to shifting business needs Adhere to data governance, security, and privacy standards Β  ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Regular and predictable work attendance Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Exercise sound judgement and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines Collaborate effectively with others Perform other duties as assigned Β  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field of study, Accounting, or Business Analysis is required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, analytics, or a related role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint and the use of sales data reporting tools Solid analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions Experience presenting data and insights in a clear, concise manner Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies Ability to travel 10% Β  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced degree 1-3 years sales operations experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry Experience supporting sales, sales operations, or commercial teams Proficiency in SQL or other data query languages Experience using business intelligence and data visualization tools including Power BI Β  OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to regularly sit, stand, or walk for extended periods Ability to occasionally bend, push, or pull Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Β  #LI-DJ1
