The IT Data Analyst is responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support business operations, performance improvement, and strategic decision-making. This role works closely with multiple departments to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting while helping teams make informed, data-driven decisions.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various business systems to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Translate data into clear, actionable insights to support operational and strategic objectives.
Develop, maintain, and automate recurring reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, or similar tools.
Present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support data extraction, integration, and reporting from systems such as ERP, CRM, or other enterprise platforms.
Partner with IT and software teams to enhance data systems, reporting tools, and automated workflows.
Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting processes.
Provide documentation, user support, and training related to reporting tools and dashboards.
Conduct ad hoc data analysis to support business projects and problem-solving initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelorβs degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
Strong SQL skills for querying and managing relational databases.
Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and macros).
Experience extracting and preparing data from APIs, databases, or cloud systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines independently.
Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Citizen or qualified U.S. Person under 22 CFR 120.15).
Experience supporting data or reporting systems in a corporate environment.
Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or business management systems.
Basic understanding of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, .NET, or Java).
Experience developing reports or dashboards for leadership teams.
Exposure to cloud-based platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while using a computer or other office equipment.
May occasionally need to lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
