Position Summary

The IT Data Analyst is responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support business operations, performance improvement, and strategic decision-making. This role works closely with multiple departments to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting while helping teams make informed, data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various business systems to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights to support operational and strategic objectives.

  • Develop, maintain, and automate recurring reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, or similar tools.

  • Present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Support data extraction, integration, and reporting from systems such as ERP, CRM, or other enterprise platforms.

  • Partner with IT and software teams to enhance data systems, reporting tools, and automated workflows.

  • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance.

  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting processes.

  • Provide documentation, user support, and training related to reporting tools and dashboards.

  • Conduct ad hoc data analysis to support business projects and problem-solving initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.

  • Strong SQL skills for querying and managing relational databases.

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and macros).

  • Experience extracting and preparing data from APIs, databases, or cloud systems.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.

  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines independently.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Citizen or qualified U.S. Person under 22 CFR 120.15).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting data or reporting systems in a corporate environment.

  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or business management systems.

  • Basic understanding of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, .NET, or Java).

  • Experience developing reports or dashboards for leadership teams.

  • Exposure to cloud-based platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while using a computer or other office equipment.

  • May occasionally need to lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
