Summary
The IT Data Specialists role is to collect, analyze and report credit union numerical data to department heads & management. You will also assist in IT related issues and data.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will have the ability to accurately collect, analyze, and interpret credit union's financial and operational data, create scheduled reports for staff on an ad-hoc basis with Credit Union Core Data. Must be able to manage the data with respect to GLBA/NCUA compliance. Develop and maintain up to date knowledge and ability to understand and evaluate financial and quantitative concepts and data.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills 1. Knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft computer applications to include Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Access. 2. Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality of information as appropriate. 3. Must be capable of operating all types of office equipment including computer, copy machine, fax, and telephone.
Physical requirements Sedentary work: must be able to sit for an extended period in a day, possess hand, wrist, and finger dexterity to use keyboard, phone, and calculator in a repetitive manner throughout your scheduled time. Must have the ability to view a computer monitor throughout your scheduled time.
Availability Must be available to work from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. M-F and work a flexible schedule. May be required to work at other branches and can travel to and from those branches.
