About the role: 
Enable a scalable and effective sales organization by leading projects to drive sales productivity and optimize the organization’s business and sales process infrastructure, while driving globally consistent execution and adoption of best practices. Partner cross functionally to meet the ongoing operational needs of the sales organization and support sales leaders by understanding and addressing their organizational needs. 

What you will do:

 Leadership & Team Management 

  • Provide direction, mentorship, and support to Sales Business Analysts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities 

  • Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback through regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews 

  • Identify training needs and design programs to enhance team members’ technical and analytical skills, fostering professional growth 

  • Participate in hiring processes and ensure smooth onboarding for new team members, setting them up for success 

  • Act as a bridge between Sales Business Analysts and senior management, communicating team progress, challenges, and key insights 

  • Delegate tasks effectively, balancing workloads across the team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management 

  • Work closely with senior sales leaders to understand their priorities, provide actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making 

  • Partner with marketing, finance, sales technology and product teams to align sales strategies with broader company objectives, ensuring seamless inter-departmental coordination 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to regional sales teams and coach regional SBAs to offer customized insights and addressing specific needs 

  • Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve reporting tools, processes, and analysis quality 

Analytics & Reporting 

  • Ensure all analytics and reporting efforts align with the organization’s as well as region’s overall business and sales strategies. 

  • Design, standardize, and enhance sales processes to boost efficiency and predictability. Oversee sales pipelines and workflows to ensure alignment with organizational goals. 

  • Analyse sales data to identify performance trends and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable reports that guide strategic decisions and support realistic goal setting. 

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts by analysing historical data and market trends, aiding resource allocation and strategic planning. 

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to enhance sales efficiency. Identify bottlenecks and streamline processes as needed. 

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage sales tools and technologies that enhance productivity and efficiency, staying informed about emerging innovations. 

  • Advocate for the use of sales tools and analytics platforms, providing training and support to ensure sales engagement and effective utilization. 

What you will need:

  • Bachelors degree required, Masters or advanced degree a plus 

  • 6+ years of progressive business experience, preferably in a sales operations or business operations function 

  • 2+ years of leadership experience or desire to begin people manager responsibilities 

  • Skilled in analyzing complex sales data, identifying trends, generating actionable insights, and making data-driven decisions. 

  • Experienced in managing and optimizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring data accuracy and effective sales tracking. 

  • Project Management Skills: Competent in planning, executing, and overseeing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery. 

  • In-depth understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, with familiarity in various sales methodologies and strategies. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting insights to stakeholders clearly and persuasively. 

  • Proven capability to lead, train, and inspire the SBA team, including conflict resolution, team building, and performance management. 

  • Proficient with sales tools and technologies, with the ability to implement and optimize tools to enhance efficiency. 

  • Adept at identifying issues in the sales process and developing innovative, effective solutions. 

  • Highly detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in data analysis and efficiency in sales processes. 

  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics or Power BI for analyzing sales data and generating insights. 

  • Expertise in Document Management tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, or Dropbox for managing and sharing documents. 

  • People management experience preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 134,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
