Data Analyst 

Minto Coporate Services 

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Your role on our team: To oversee all data management techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data in a CRM system. To implement and enforce policies and procedures for effective data management and analysis as well as managing data integrity and monitor user adoption throughout the organization.

In this role, you will:

Data Management
•    Lead and oversee all data management practices to ensure the adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data within the CRM system.
•    Establish, implement, and uphold efficient procedures and policies for data management and analysis, with attention to details and organizational standards.
•    Monitor database health and user adoption across the organization, enforcing data integrity protocols and ensuring effective data collection and management.
•    Conduct regular database maintenance activities including auditing, updating, cleanup, and deduplication to ensure optimal performance.
•    Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues, including executing necessary data correction tasks.
Process & CRM Optimization
•    Develop, implement, and maintain training documentation for CRM processes and systems, including identifying and formalizing workflows in functional areas where processes are undefined.
•    Analyze and document gaps between current and desired CRM system functionality and manage the reporting and resolution of system issues through to completion.
•    Assist and support functional teams on data audit and end-user testing. 
•    Monitor and assess CRM system performance and user adoption across the organization, supporting end users in daily operations and ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
Reporting & Analytics
•    Extract and analyze data based on business requirements to support functionality assessments, campaign performance, and lead quality evaluation.
•    Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor KPIs and performance metrics, delivering actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
•    Create reports and visualizations to track customer behaviors and campaign effectiveness, supporting data-driven decisions across teams.
Stakeholder Management
•    Gather and translate business requirements into scalable technical implementations that support data-driven decision-making.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational processes and their impact on data hygiene, conducting data audits and facilitating end-user testing to ensure data integrity.
•    Drive alignment and standardization across teams by managing expectations, promoting shared understanding of data processes, and facilitating cross-functional learning.
 

We would like you to have:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Experience: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience executing data management practices using technologies to query, program, and present data.

  • 2+ years of experience in building reports and dashboards (Power BI or Tableau), preparing data, and deriving insights from complex datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, including daily operations, testing, and performance monitoring.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical requirements and actionable insights.
  • Experience working with marketing automation tools is a plus (e.g., Marketo or Marketing Cloud).
  • Demonstrated success supporting complex, cross-organizational projects.

    Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: 

  • Strong understanding of data governance, audit methodologies, and data management functions (collection, analysis, recommendations, delegation, etc.) 
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; proficiency in SQL, Power Query, or Python is preferred.
  • Skilled in analyzing and organizing large datasets and communicating complex issues in clear, non-technical terms.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data integrity, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects across functions, adapting to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data issues.
  • Strong logical, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and virtual teams.
